OPTIMA SETS THE GOLD STANDARD AT 2010 AIS AWARDS!
Optima Products showed its mettle at interior construction’s biggest night of the year, the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS) 2010 Awards. Its products were used on the projects which took home the Gold Award in both competitions in the Partitioning Category.
In the Value Band up to £100k category, Moda Interiors Ltd won the Gold Award for its work on the Deb Group HQ, Denby, Derbyshire. Featuring Optima 117 single glazed partitions and matching Sliding Doors, judges praised its excellent glazed atrium and curved office partitioning.
The judging panel was especially impressed by the attention paid to the Managing Director’s office. Its entrance was provided by two sliding doors meeting at the 90° angle at the corner of the office. Carefully installed to provide elegant access whilst maintaining privacy, it held great aesthetic value.
In the Value Band Over £100k category, Optima Contracting took the gold for its work at the headquarters of financiers, Warburg Pincus. The scheme featured Revolution 97 double glazed partitioning and timber frame doors for the executive areas, making the scheme stand out from the crowd.
Excellent acoustic performance was attained on the project and impeccable tolerances were achieved throughout. As sister company to Optima Products, undertaking installation of the company products in the capital, Optima Contracting is highly skilled at installing the company’s leading products.
Moda and Optima Contracting are both Optima Premier Network Platinum Dealers. Having undergone a rigorous vetting process, these companies meet the most exacting standards of workmanship, Health & Safety and sustainability and are fully skilled at installing Optima’s state of the art products. Their success in the Partitioning Category at the AIS Awards illustrates not only the companies’ attention to detail, but also the quality of Optima Systems’ products.
Christian Mabey, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Optima, commented: “We are really pleased with our performance at the AIS 2010 Awards. Seeing our products get the Gold Award in both categories really shows that we are the nation’s leading provider of partitioning systems – and we’re already looking forward to next year’s awards!”
A long favourite with architects and specifiers, Optima’s high quality partitioning systems are frequently installed on the most prestigious and demanding schemes. That the company’s products should feature so heavily at the 2010 AIS Awards stands as a testament to the high regard that they are held in by construction professionals.
